AtomsNote ("we", "us", "our") helps students access notes, PYQs, and exam resources. This page explains what information we collect when you use AtomsNote, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep this as plain and readable as possible — if anything is unclear, feel free to reach out.
When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile details such as your name, email address, and profile picture. We don't ask for or store your password — authentication is handled entirely by these providers.
When you make a purchase, our payment partner processes your payment details directly. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank information — we only receive confirmation that a payment was successful, along with the order amount and date.
We also keep a record of what you've purchased (notes, PYQs, or resources) so you can access them anytime from your dashboard, along with basic usage information like pages visited and features used, which helps us understand what's working and what isn't.

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like which semester or subject tab you last viewed). We don't use cookies to track you across other websites.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data, and we only share what's necessary for them to perform their service.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our systems. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We keep your account and purchase information for as long as your account is active, so you retain lifetime access to anything you've bought. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep certain records (like purchase history) for legal or accounting purposes.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can also request a copy of the data we hold about you. To do any of this, just reach out using the contact details below.
AtomsNote is intended for college students and is not designed for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time as AtomsNote grows. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
